I love working with first-time parents, the excitement and anticipation is just so wonderful the first time around! It was great meeting this expecting couple yesterday and I love love love their nursery!!

I was so excited to do this session today as I haven’t seen this family in almost 2 years! I did a maternity session for them in March of ‘08 and this mama looks just as fabulous the 2nd time around! Little Aspyn, now almost 2 years old, participated too! (on her terms of course!)

I just love working with first time expectant parents. The new equipment purchased but not yet assembled, the brand new nursery and closet full of tiny apparel, the bags packed in preparation to go to the hospital… it all just makes me so nostalgic. What a precious time this is and how quickly it all...

I never had the patience to wait to find out the gender when I was preggo. I’ve always wondered what that would be like, to not know until the moment of birth. How exciting that will be for these expecting parents! They have the cutest unisex nursery ever too! Love it!
